Jennie Peters, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, APNP, CNE
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Jennie's goal is to always to take the time to listen to each client. She treats the "whole person" by empathizing and applying her knowledge but arriving at a plan together (provider/client). Jennie will never rush through consultation and ensure that all questions are answered, she intentionally has longer appointment times for all clients.
Using evidence-based practice and maintaining patient safety is of utmost importance when assisting clients with their medications. Working as a team is also one of her most significant philosophies. Collaboration with the client to develop the best plan is, in her opinion, the most effective method for achieving mental health.
Jennie has been living in Kenosha since 1999. She has 5 grown children, so Jennie and her husband are living life with two dogs, two cats, and six grandchildren who bring me all smiles!
Since 2014, Jennie has led medical mission missions in Central America. She also enjoys traveling around the United States in her RV. For fun, Jennie likes to read, crochet, play cards, and play piano.
Jennie works part time on Tuesdays (virtual) and Thursdays (in-person), 10am-6pm.
